37 Osterley Road Yeronga
Confidential
5 Bed | 3 Bath | 2 Car
Brisbane Inner-South agents Roger Carr and Mark Diamond joined forces for this record sale in Yeronga.
37 Osterley Road sold for $1.6 million, making it the highest sale price for a non-riverfront house on land under 800m2 in the suburb. It is also Yeronga’s second-highest value sale for 2020 and broke the price record for the street.
However, there’s more to this story than the record-breaking price. The property was listed during the height of COVID-19 restrictions, meaning that all 45 inspections had to be private.
An auction was conducted during the peak of the lockdown with five qualified bidders, which was fantastic for the circumstances. After a period of spirited bidding, the property eventually passed in and was listed for private treaty sale.
The perfect buyer for the property ended up being from Northern Queensland. This meant that they couldn’t physically inspect the property and had to utilise our detailed online information and 3D tour.
This result shows that the property market is incredibly resilient to financial shocks, especially in the Inner-South. Core Logic reported no change in property value in the area since March, which reinforces positivity in the market place.
