We were contacted by an interstate investor who owned a townhouse in Coorparoo; they wanted to sell their asset whilst the property market was delivering results. Shortly after engaging with us, once the tenants vacated the property, we were able to go through and provide feedback on what works should be carried out to ensure that the home was ready for buyers to come through for inspections prior to auction day. We recommended the carpets and most of the lighting throughout the townhouse be replaced to give it a cleaner look. We also recommended getting a few touch ups with paint done and ensuring that shower heads and taps be replaced. Once done, we also recommended getting a stylist in to stage the property to make it feel like home with the furniture that was used. All recommendations were followed and paid by the vendor before launching the property into the market. During the course of the campaign, we received approximately 20 groups of buyers through with one coming with a buyers agent who showed strong interest. Shortly after, we received a written unconditional offer, prior to auction which was accepted by the vendor and also achieved a complex record.
